My wife had a fall on a poorly maintained council pavement yesterday resulting in sprained ankle and my 2 year old son took a fall at the same time and scratched up his face, is this something we could claim on? Is it worth doing so, I have pictures of the pavement in question and my sons facial injury also my wife medical record from today’s visit to hospital is accessible through the GP

Hi, sorry to hear this I hope they are okay. They would be able to make a claim for the fall, they can make 2 individuals claims (1 per person). For your wife's claim there would be a standard fee taken out of the compensation to cover all legal costs but as your son is under 18 there would be no fee taken on his claim and you would recieve the full amount of compensation.
