X Ray missed fracture..looking for advice

I made an appointment with my GP due to pain in my shoulder, they referred me to the hospital for an x-ray. After my x ray I was told it may just be muscle damage and was given painkillers. After a few months the pain never went away so I went back and it was found they missed a fracture on my original x ray and now it hasn’t healed correctly leaving me in pain permanently, is there anything I can do regarding this?

Hi Terrence, sorry to hear that. You may be able to claim for a missed fracture in this instance. It would be best to contact a medical negligence solicitor for additional advice as they may have specific criteria for missed fracture claims such as delay in diagnosis, how the original fracture happened etc.
